Ed Galvin brings more than 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, having worked with individuals, families, and business owners since 1998. He provides comprehensive financial planning services and serves as the syndicate coordinator for the Raymond James Boston branch.
Ed has extensive knowledge of the challenges clients face both before and after retirement, offering thoughtful guidance on key issues such as retirement income strategies, employer-sponsored retirement plans, tax mitigation, retirement cash flow, asset management, and estate planning. He works closely with each client to understand their priorities and designs tailored strategies aligned with their long-term goals. For business owners, Ed provides highly specialized guidance around wealth creation, exit readiness, and post-liquidity planning, helping them translate years of hard work into lasting financial security and multigenerational impact.
Prior to joining Raymond James, Ed was a branch manager at TD Waterhouse and a financial advisor with UBS and Morgan Stanley. He earned a degree in marketing from Fairfield University.
Active in both his professional and local communities, Ed is the President of Westwood Youth Hockey and remains involved coaching youth hockey and baseball. A native of Westwood, Massachusetts, he lives there with his wife, Rebecca, and their sons, James and Colin.
